The three babies, one male and two girls, are in good health and came into the world after normal delivery.
The Provincial Delegate of the Foundation, Merito Dalela, said that the gesture aims to minimize the burden of needs that babies may face in these first days of life.
Merito Dalela also urges other social organizations to join campaigns to support newborns, as the initial moments of a baby are crucial for the well-being of the child.
The mother of the triplets who delivered her fourth birth thanked the support provided by the Yassin Amuji Foundation.
“Thank you. With your support I’ll try to hold on through these days when I still can’t move much. I didn’t count on having three babies in a single birth. It’s a blessing, but I feel an overload on expenses to provide care for my babies, ” he said.
The Director of the 19 de Outubro Neighborhood Health Center in Vilankulo, Mónica Mufume, said that this is the first assisted delivery in this health unit after its entry into operation last week.
She appealed to pregnant women for greater adherence to health care so that they have follow-up during and in the postpartum period.
