As part of the “Winter Solidarity” campaign, the Yassin Amuji Foundation in Zambézia offers blankets to vulnerable children and elderly people

The Winter Solidarity campaign is an initiative of the Yassin Amuji Foundation to help vulnerable people face winter in Mozambique.

In Zambézia on the 7th of September, 4 districts namely: District of Inhassunge, Milange, Pebane and Maganja da Costa, distributed blankets to needy children and elderly people.

The Foundation’s District Delegate, Cláudio Marcano, explains that donations in the Maganja da Costa district benefited children who are heads of families and elderly people living in precarious situations. He emphasizes that actions of this nature must be replicated because there are many people at that point in need.

Tacibira Manuno, District Delegate of the Foundation in Milange, says that she is happy to contribute to a warm rest of those children and intends to carry out more activities of nature in that area.
According to the Delegate of Pebane, Dino Amade Omar, the blankets should be distributed before winter arrives, however due to several factors it was not possible, but seeing the reception of the beneficiaries made him happy.

“These are needy families and all support is welcome, the Foundation thinking about these families awakens in people the spirit of solidarity and helping others with little”, commented Zito do Rosário Ossumane District Delegate of Inhassunge.
