As part of the celebration of the International Day of the Elderly, an event that takes place on October 1st, the Yassin Amuji Foundation offered blankets to a family that was recently the victim of a fire, as well as to children and elderly people in the city of Xai-Xai , province of Gaza.
According to Leonardo Chitete, delegate of the Yassin Amuji Foundation in this part of the country, these gestures aim to restore a smile and hope to these vulnerable people.
In fact, “we know that no gesture is as important as comforting a family, bringing hope to children and returning a smile to the elderly. That’s why we, as a foundation, did our part”, said the delegate.
